As of July 1, there was an important change to research publication funding administered by the University Libraries. 

Applications for subvention funding must be received PRIOR TO PUBLICATION. 

We have found some publishers are unwilling to include funding acknowledgement statements in articles that have already been published, or they may indicate acknowledgement can only be accommodated via erratum.
